Note: Some providers advertise the course cost excluding the SafeWork NSW card fee. This is then applied at the end of the booking process. This may add to your overall course cost.
8:00am - 3:00pm (6 hours + breaks).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for administrative tasks and evidence of identity requirements. Those who are more than 15 minutes late to the course may be refused entry.

Students must be 14 years or older

Every student enrolling in accredited training must have a USI (unique student identifier) number. If you do not already have a USI you can create one here
Language, Literacy and Numeracy. The requirements of this course state that a basic understanding, reading and writing of English is required to be able to complete assessments. Use of interpreters is not allowed.
The White Card trainer/assessor reserves the right to refuse entry to the class to any student if in the opinion of the trainer/assessor the trainee displays a lack of English comprehension when entering the classroom.

SafeWork NSW does not accept RPL for General Construction Induction Training (white card)
The course fee must be paid in advance and in full at the time of enrolment. Booking and enrolment must be done at least one day prior to the day of training. Students will not be able to attend training if the course fee has not been paid and verification of payment received by the provider.
Hard Hat Training only accepts credit card payments and unfortunately cannot offer payment plans.
Bring a pen. Wear casual attire with enclosed footwear.
Remember to bring 100 points of ID with you on the day of training.

The training facility is conveniently located in the Penrith CBD with free parking adjacent to the facility.
Penrith Railway Station is a short 5 minute walk away. Multiple bus routes service the local area.

You will be able to start work immediately upon successful completion of the White Card Training Course. The Statement of Attainment will be issued on the day. SafeWork NSW will send a plastic card to your postal address.
Upon successful completion of training you will receive:
Statement of Attainment (certificate showing achievement of the nationally recognised unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry)
Statement of Training (completion of National WHS General Construction Induction Training used as initial proof of course completion)
White Card (plastic card posted to your address by SafeWork NSW)

When you book a course online with Hard Hat Training, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Full payment is required to secure your place.
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is mandatory for issue of certificate.

Bookings are non-transferable between individuals.
Bookings are not able to be rescheduled unless 7+ days' written notice is given (fee may apply). Please send an email with the subject heading 'White Card reschedule booking'.
Cancellations:
7+ days notice: Full refund or reschedule
Less than 7 days notice: No refund
No-shows: No refund
Rescheduling:
7+ days notice in writing: Free (first time), $40 fee (second time), not allowed (third time)
48 hours to 7 days notice: $40 fee
Less than 48 hours notice: Not allowed, rebooking required
Illness-related rescheduling: Same-day notification and medical certificate required, $20 fee applies
Rescheduled courses must be booked within 7 days of the original date
Arrive 15 minutes before the start time
Late arrivals (15+ minutes) will be refused entry without refund
100 points of ID required as per SafeWork NSW guidelines
Casual attire and enclosed shoes mandatory
Free all day parking is available in Judges Place Multi Level Car Park adjacent to the training facility (top level only). Read signage in the car park to avoid limited time parking bays. The car park is monitored by parking attendants (Penrith City Council issues ticketless fines). Hard Hat Training is not liable for any fines received by those attending our training facility.

Hard Hat Training reserves the right to cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you'll receive a full refund or free rescheduling option. Our liability is limited to the course fee paid.

Hard Hat Training is committed to safeguarding your personal information. We will not disclose your data to external entities or third parties without your explicit written consent, typically via email.
Exceptions to this policy include:
Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, or law enforcement requests)
Sharing progress and results with potential employers, only upon your written request
Disclosure to employers or external parties who have funded your training, provided you've consented during enrollment
We do not sell personal information or use it for promotions unrelated to Hard Hat Training.
We implement reasonable measures to protect all personal information from unauthorized access, modification, loss, and disclosure. Data will be securely destroyed or permanently deleted when it no longer serves a legitimate purpose or when the retention period mandated by the National Vet regulator has elapsed.

For name changes, you must provide certified identification. Changes must align with your USI details.

Before commencing assessment, we must verify your identity. You must provide a combination of original documents totaling 100 points, which must include your:
Date of birth
Current NSW residential address
Photograph
Signature
Please note:
Only one primary document may be used
Documents from different institutions are required if presenting multiple financial or utility documents
All documents must display your full name, not just initials
